1st Hour

 

Spanish Songs & Games - Learn some Spanish in a fun way with songs and games about numbers, colors, animals and more!

Stories & Crafts - We will be reading books with a creative spin. Each class we'll read a different book and have a craft connected to that book.

Drama  - This class will consist of age-appropriate drama games and an introduction to theater.

2nd Hour

PE - Time to move! Participate in fun games and activities with your class.

Teacher: Lorimer

Supplies: Please wear tennis shoes and weather-appropriate clothing as PE is held outside, and bring a snack from home to enjoy.

Fruit of the Spirit  - Learn about the Fruit of the Spirit and what the words mean to us from a biblical understanding. I will help your student(s) memorize, understand, and utilize the Fruit of the Spirit in their own life throughout the semester. This will be done age appropriately so that they are engaged!

Amazing Animals - Amazing Animals will cover some of the most unique creatures in the animal kingdom. Through a combination of books, videos, crafting, and science experiments, we will learn the answer to questions such as, “Why is a giraffe’s neck so long?” and “Why don’t fish sink?”

Fun Science Experiments & Games - This will be a super fun class of making predictions and seeing which predictions were right or wrong with as many experiments as we can fit into an hour. We'll be working with Light and Color, Sound Vibrations, Energy, Electricity, Weather, and more. It's hard to predict how long an experiment will take, so if and when we do finish early, we will have science based games to play. I think we aren't supposed to make any messes in the class...but when there's a will, there's a way! :) The kids seem to love doing the Dino Dig's archaeology kits, so we may go outside that day or saran wrap the entire room. Can't wait!
