1st Hour
Sew a Zoo! - This class is perfect for beginning sewers with safety plastic needles. We will be sewing little felt jungle animals with pre-punched holes. They can be used as toys for your very own zoo, or strung on a garland to decorate a room. Even if you've never sewn or embroidered before, this class will have you stitching like a pro in no time!

Imagination Workshop - Imagination Workshop is a fun, movement-based class designed for K–2 students who love to pretend, explore, and create. Each week, children jump into a world of creativity through drama-style games, character play, teamwork activities, and themed adventures. No memorizing, performing, or acting experience is needed — just curiosity and imagination!

Biomes & Animals - In this hands-on science class, students will explore Earth’s major biomes and the incredible animals and plants that call them home. Each week features a short teaching segment, a sensory exploration activity, and a creative craft or project to deepen understanding. Students will learn about unique habitats around the world—from deserts to rainforests—and discover what makes each biome special. This class encourages curiosity, observation, and a love for the natural world.

Mini Master Builders -Each week, children will explore a different building material such as LEGO® DUPLO, Magna-Tiles®, cardboard, and playdough to design, create, test, and problem-solve. Students will strengthen fine-motor skills, spark creativity, and practice early engineering concepts through open-ended builds, mini-challenges, and teamwork activities. Every class offers a new material, a new challenge, and endless imagination!

Legos and Literature - Combining hands-on building with literature, the class encourages kids to construct scenes, characters, and settings inspired by classic storybooks. Participants will enhance their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and literacy as they bring stories to life brick by brick. (At the end of the semester, each child will get to take home their base plate and a small bag of legos)

Old Fashioned Story Hour - Old-Fashioned Story Hour invites young learners into the cozy world of classic picture books and timeless tales. Each week, we’ll read a beloved story such as Blueberries for Sal or Make Way for Ducklings, then bring the book to life through a hands-on craft, simple game, or playful dramatic retelling. Children will enjoy sharing stories together, using their imaginations, and creating something inspired by the week’s adventure. This gentle, joyful class celebrates reading, creativity, and the simple charm of old-fashioned storytelling.
